Petersfield Church of England (Aided) Primary School is a small, rural school serving families from within the parish boundaries of Orwell, Arrington, Croydon, Tadlow, Whaddon and Wimpole and from many other locations outside of our school catchment. Our vision inspires us to ‘Live life to the full’. We are committed to ensuring each pupil thrives and to support this we are looking for a playworker to join our wonderful staff team.

We require a playworker to join our small but enthusiastic and friendly team of Puffins staff. We are looking for someone who:

  • is caring, patient and enthusiastic, with good communication skills and has high expectations.
  • fosters a therapeutic approach to supporting pupils to thrive.
  • is able to plan with pupils and other playworkers to deliver exciting activities for all pupils who attend the out of school hours club
  • is highly motivated and keen to further raise standards.
  • is happy to take a lead in catering (optional)
