Teaching in East Cambs and Fenland

In 2017, Fenland and East Cambridgeshire was chosen as one of 12 Opportunity Areas allocated by the government to receive additional funding. The Opportunity Area transitioned to a Priority Area in September 2022. The aim of the programme was to raise education standards locally and ensure that all children and young people in Fenland and East Cambridgeshire have access to high quality education, training and employment.
